Learn how to bake red velvet brownies.

Who doesn't like a rich slice of red velvet cake?  Accented with a hint of cocoa and enveloped in cream cheese frosting, red velvet cake has gained an overwhelming amount of popularity in recent years.  At Chic Sweets Fine Desserts we reimagined this classic cake transforming it into a red velvet brownie.

We start with melted, unsalted butter, then add dark chocolate ships, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and a hint of espresso powder to bring out the flavor of the chocolate chips.  To bring this scratch-made brownie together we fold in flour, Dutch-processed cocoa, all-purpose flour and salt.  After cooling, we cover the brownies with cream cheese frosting and garnish them with heart sprinkles.

These delightful brownies are the perfect treat for your sweetheart.  Feel free to watch the video or bake the recipe below.  Don't forget to leave us a comment or question.
