Custom Cookies and Cake jars

Pure serendipity—and I’m thankful I said yes.

I have to share a story from the past few weeks—because even now, I’m still in awe of how it all came together.

Back in mid-March, an event planner reached out to me with a big request: 500 cake jars for the merger celebration of an AI company. We planned everything out for their official launch, scheduled a couple of weeks ahead, and I got to work preparing for one of my largest orders to date.

Then, several weeks later, something unexpected happened.

A man found my business through a search and reached out needing sugar cookies with his company’s logo… within 24 hours. He wanted them for a celebration tied to that same company merger.

At first, I tried to point him toward larger bakeries, knowing how tight the turnaround was. But after being turned away elsewhere, he came back and asked if I could please help.

So I said yes.

Within a single day, I baked the cookies, frosted them, sourced edible images for the logos, and delivered everything out to The Woodlands—just in time. It was intense, but so rewarding to pull it off.

And all I could think was… what are the chances?

Two completely separate people.
Two completely separate events.
No connection between them.

And yet, both chose my bakery to help celebrate the same company’s big milestone.

Then came the second wave.

Two weeks later, it was time for the official launch event—the one with the 500 cake jars. With the help of a friend, we worked late into the night to get everything finished. It was a true team effort, powered by determination (and probably a lot of sugar). We delivered the jars the morning of the event—tired, but incredibly proud.

I won’t lie—I am still exhausted.

But more than that, I feel deeply grateful.

Grateful that out of all the bakeries in the area, my small business was chosen not once, but twice, to be part of such a special celebration.

Grateful for the growth, the trust, and those moments that remind me I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

This was pure serendipity—and I’m thankful I said yes.

Thank you for being here and supporting me through every step of this journey.
