 I am sharing with you my treasured banana nut bread recipe. This banana nut bread can be found at many of our partnerned coffeeshops in the greater Houston area. 

   I created this short and sweet tutorial to demonstrate just how easy it is to bake this recipe. Discover my secret tips and also the secret ingredient I add to transform this traditional bread into a healthier version.

Banana Nut Loaf

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
3/4 cup canola oil
4 ripened bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts (walnuts preferred)
2 tablespoons chia seeds (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.  Mash bananas using a pastry cutter.
3. Mix wet ingredients together.
3. Whisk dry ingredients and combine with wet ingredients.

4.  Pour into a greased loaf pan.

5. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

6.  Allow to cool for 30 minutes before removing from the pan.
