We’ve infused our traditional old-fashioned buttermilk dough with pure, sweet almond extract—a classic Southern pantry secret that coaxes out the rich, deep flavors of our cultured brown butter. Hand-pressed with delicate, shaved almond slivers before hitting the oven, these tea cakes bake up with a gorgeous, toasted crunch that perfectly balances the soft, pillowy center.
